Come and visit ‘Fat Hen Creek Caravan & Camping Kilkivan’ to experience camping in the country. Our campground has been designed for those of you who are enthusiastic caravan and campers that love the great outdoors. We offer large camp sites, clean amenities, wide open spaces with fresh country air.
If you are looking for a family friendly camping experience, we offer over 100 acres of countryside to explore. Set alongside Fat Hen Creek, a seasonal creek which at most times has water, an abundance of bird life and wildlife.
Located just 5 kms from Kilkivan, a small, relaxed country town with a unique ‘frontier’ feel. The surrounding countryside is intersected by numerous small ranges and ravines. Within a 3 drive from Brisbane, Fat Hen Creek Campground is the perfect place to base yourself to explore the Gympie and South Burnett region or just kick back and relax!
Our facilities include powered and unpowered sites, amenities block with showers and toilets, washing machine, walking and bike track, shady trees and picnic tables.
Entry to the campground is directly off the Wide Bay Highway, safely accessible at the Fat Hen Creek overnight rest stop entrance.
Our onsite Managers are passionate about travelling and caravanning. They look forward to welcoming you and will make sure your stay is happy and comfortable.
